On June 29th, 2019 Alan Derian appeared on a panel with composers Kathryn Bostic and Germaine Franco at the Women in Media Cameraderie Orientation, mentoring new composers. Among the many topics discussed, establishing better communication between filmmakers and composers was the highlight of the panel.
